Since 1927, our diverse
membership has worked to create innovative ways contributing
our individual talents and valuable time toward improving
the lives of women, children, and underprivileged.
Today, the Junior League of
San Joaquin County continues to be a significant volunteer force,
dedicated to upholding the legacy of service to the
community. We are a broad-based charitable organization
dedicated to training women for leadership and more
effective community service. Junior League of San
Joaquin County
reaches out to woman of all races, religious and national
origins who are over 21 and are interested and committed to
volunteer service.
The Junior League of San Joaquin
County is
a wonderful organization with a mission that inspires
excitement and dedication. We are proud of our history and
recent affiliation with the “Association
of Junior League International, Inc., (
www.ajli.org
) an organization of over 170,000 members in 294 leagues
located in the United States,
Canada, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. Our membership is
open to all women over the age of 21, regardless of race,
color, religion, sexual orientation, handicapped status of
national origin who possesses an interest in and a
commitment to voluntarism.
This organization is very
fortunate to have the continued support of the community and
dedicated women who give their time so generously ensuring
that Junior League of San Joaquin County is built to last.
